A Warm Welcome to Cholderton Charlie’s at the Rare Breeds Farm, located in the village of Cholderton, near Salisbury in Wiltshire; the McConnell family and their friendly team of staff look forward to meeting 'Ewe' Soon!

Our beautiful on-site Kitchen, Café & Bar undergoing a much needed refurbishment on Monday the 15th of July 2019, however we have created a great pop up cafe down on the farm offering Summer Salads, Tasty Toasties, Juicy Jackets and delicious kids meals, and is open all day every day, serving seasonal hot and cold food and drinks.

Why not pop and see us - we will always greet you with a warm and friendly smile! Whether you are passing through, staying in the area, or have planned a day on the Farm, our quality food and attentive service, provided in an idyllic location, will keep you coming back for more.

Located just off the A303 near Salisbury, we are situated in the beautiful Wiltshire village of Cholderton. With ample parking and fantastic facilities, we offer a whole lot more than just a cup of tea and a slice of cake!

We have so much for you to see and do during your visit, and we can’t wait for you to come and enjoy some well-deserved quality family time with us when you visit.

We have not only The Farm packed full of your favourite furry friends, including: Pigs, Goats, Sheep, Donkey, Calf, Ponies, Rabbits, Peacocks, Chickens, Ducks & Geese and more, but we also have some fabulous in and outdoor play areas, daily activities, on-site accommodation, gift shop & English Bluestone Vineyard - and all of this for the absolutely amazing value of just £5.50 per child, £6 per adult (when booked online) and under 2's go FREE!

Please note that the Tree Top Trail, Nest Swing and Zip Line are currently closed as we are replacing the equipment with something BRAND NEW!

Please note: under 18’s require adult supervision on The Farm at all times. Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm LLP accepts cash and all valid credit & debit cards. Cheques are no longer accepted.

Please Note: we do not permit dogs on The Farm, except assistance dogs.

Information for guests with disabilities:

  • One carer may go free with a disabled guest aged 2 years and over.
  • Disabled parking spaces are available, just ask if you cannot find one, we have another car park!
  • Wheelchair access on The Farm is reasonable however we do advise guests of our natural farm terrain, as most of The Farm is grass and it can become muddy in wet weather.
  • The Farm has disabled access toilet facilities both down on The Farm and in The Shop & Cafe area.
